RJ Visits Austin

It appears that a lot more people need to see the beauty that is Austin, Manitoba.

After the poll between Elm Creek and Austin, I debated whether I would still feature the losing community. I asked a friend of mine what they thought, and they thought Austin was just a community with the Ag Museum. So, naturally, I had to show the beauty of the town.

Each blog has been focused on the things you can see in a community any time of the day. I like driving into a town, and just taking photos of what I see. Whether that’s a building, a field, or something random, I do my best to try and share what I find.

In Austin, I had a bunch of fun. It doesn’t take long to get to everywhere, but I find that to be a benefit. The ball diamonds are near the school. The elevator is near the fire hall. You can take an afternoon, and just drive street by street to take everything in.

I’d highly recommend it. After all, the Ag Museum *is* awesome — but that’s not the only thing that makes Austin awesome.
